This course is the UK's first online postgraduate degree in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry.

The collaboration of the University of Manchester and Smile-on provides an innovative programme where students can gain the confidence and ability to enhance their current clinical practice.

Major areas covered:

  • Patient communication and treatment presentation
  • Current techniques, materials and clinical advances in anterior aesthetics
  • Current techniques, materials and clinical advances in posterior aesthetics
  • Treatment planning of the complex aesthetic case
  • Restoration of endodontically treated teeth

Hands-on sessions

The mandatory hands-on component of the course will be completed during residentials in both years. Topics covered include:

  • Aesthetic recontouring
  • Clinical photography
  • Sliced veneers and ¾ crowns
  • Restorative Gingival techniques
