Course description
This undergraduate programme has been developed to give students the skills they need to become dental therapists or dental hygienists, and helps provide a holistic approach to primary dental care.
Students will be trained to undertake a number of clinical procedures, such as periodontal treatment, simple fillings, dental radiographs and the extraction of primary teeth. They will also develop excellent communication skills to motivate and encourage patients to develop good oral health practices.
